Getting Ready!

Hi Friends,

I’m thinking about all the things I have to do before Halloween.  Although, the weather is still very warm, I can’t wait until we get the first frost on the pumpkins. 

 While I was  walking today I got very excited to see so many houses were already decorated. Oh no! One more thing to put on my list of things to do!   Do you decorate your house?  If you do I would love to know what scary or funny things you do to welcome the Trick or Treaters.

I tried to get Blackie to go pumpkin picking with me. Guess what he said?  “No, I hate Halloween, remember?”  Don’t worry, I’ll get him to help. Have fun getting ready and keep your fingers crossed for some “Frost on the Pumpkins”   Write to me soon. Let’s be friends!

Happy Fall!

Hi friends,

Happy Fall!  I am very busy today getting ready for Halloween.  I have been thinking about my costume, but I just can not decide.  Do I want to be funny or scary?  Blackie my best friend says I am already scary!  He is so funny.  He does not like Halloween. I keep reminding him how much fun we are going to have, but he wants to just stay home.  I have so much to do. I know he will help me if I ask him.  He is a good friend and that is what friends do.  I hope you will visit again.  I have some really good Halloween snacks to share with you and they are really easy and fun to make.  Blackie likes snacks, maybe he will help me make some.  Why don’t you ask a friend to help you?

Hi friends,   Back to school!  It is very exciting to meet a new teacher and classmates some you know some are new. Why not make some new friends?  Maybe there is someone in your class you never met or maybe they are new to your school. Be kind and say hello. Soon that new person will be a your friend and you can share the wonderful things happening everyday at school.

Today it is sunny and cool and that makes me think about Autumn and of course, Halloween.   Are you thinking about all the fun we are going to have getting ready to Trick or Treat?   I’m very busy planning all the activities that will be coming soon.  Do you have any ideas?  Let me know.

Hi, It’s Josie sending happy thoughts to you.  I sure hope you are having as much fun this summer as I am.  My friends and I have are swimming and going for sail boat rides.  But, the best thing is, I have met some new friends.  I told them all about the Halloween party, even though it is only August,(always best to be prepared.) I am thinking about my costume for this years Halloween party.  Do you have any ideas what you would like to be?  Someone once told me a stranger is just a friend you haven’t met yet.
